Roger Guenveur Smith on “Juan and John”

Roger Guenveur Smith’s new play, “Juan and John,” opens today at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles. The play is based on the famous 1965 incident between the San Francisco Giants’ Juan Marichal and the Los Angeles Dodgers’ John Roseboro.

In this interview the actor and director talks with Max Benavidez about his inspiration for the play.
